Focus
To develop an awareness of the importance of music during wartime to raise spirits and how music can be used to portray war.  To study popular musical styles during WW2 such as Swing and contemporary music, i.e. Gorecki 3rd Symphony used to portray the Holocaust.  Perform and compose music, including their own military fanfare.

Objectives
To compose a fanfare.
