The Beatles (Primary Chords)

Focus
Develop awareness of how the Beatles influences pop music in the 60s.  Learn to play Beatles songs in group/class ensembles, fitting part in with others.  Learn about chords and how they are constructed and used in pop songs.

Objectives
Learn about primary chords, and perform in root position.  Compose own songs using primary chords - writing own chord sequence.  Learn to play chord and riff part in ensemble.  Sing in groups and then combine parts for an effective performance.  Record final outcome.
